About myself..... 
 
   With an SGI article, released 1993 in a German Magazine which was 
   called Play Zone, my very special interest of SGI Machines and all 
   around started. 

   But let´s start at the very beginning:
   
   My Parents came from Croatia in the early 70s to Germany just to 
   work for some years and then go ahead to Canada.
   But somehow, they stayed more and more years in Germany till 
   I was born in 1979 as Markus Bartakovic in Dortmund - Germany.
   I mainly grow up in Dortmund but also in different places in Germany 
   like for some years in the beautiful Schwarzwald.
   
   My interest for Computers and all around started in 1988.
   When I was finishing my school in 1996 I tried, against the warnings 
   of Teachers and Friends to reach education and a higher school 
   certificate at the same time to be able to visit the University.
   That was the first mistake I did in life. 
   I stopped his kind of higher school after one of three years.
 
   After that, I wanted my first own Apartment so I started to work very 
   hard firstly in the Industry to earn enough Money.
   In late of 1998 I found myself working in the IT Business where I came 
   across many types of Companies. 
   I found one Company where I firstly worked as a Technician and 
   earned (for my purposes) a lot of money. 
   Nearly one year later I decided to start my education as an 
   IT - System Electrician in the same Company. 
   In the beginning of my 3rd year of study the Company came into 
   Chapter 11 and was at the end of August 2001 bankrupt. 
   ´Cause of that situation I also got into trouble so I had to stop my 
   education after two years.
   
   In the beginning of 2002 I started a Training to finish my education. 
   The Training ended in January 2004 with a Practice for 6 Months 
   at UUNET - MCI Group in Dortmund.
   After that I worked for some time with a Trading License commercially
   in Cologne in a Post Production Studio called Peppermintpost as a
   System Administrator for SGI Systems and others.
   Till yet I´m jobless and do some mini jobs (if I get ´em).
   Let´s see what the future will bring to me.

   As already mentioned before, my interest of SGI Machines and all 
   around started in 1993 with an article in the Magazine Play Zone.
   After that I got a Telephone Number of Silicon Graphics Express, which 
   gave me the idea to call them and to ask for all kinds of Product Guides,
   Magazines and so on. I collected and kept the Guides across the years.
   
   In 1995 I firstly got in touch with SGIs at the Ruhr University of Bochum.
   It was kinda fascinating to got in touch with all these Indys, Indigo and 
   Indigo2s like also Challenge L and Convex Systems.
   
   In the year 2000 I bought myself the first and own Indigo2.
   I started with nothing but the Machine. After a while I noticed EBay and 
   also met some people who also worked with this Machines.
   As the years go ahead, the scene got bigger and bigger, and I also got 
   more and more Machines.

   In the year 2003 I made the big leap forward by getting my first 
   Onyx2 Deskside and VPro8 for Octane.
   Since then I decided to develop my first own little SGI Hardware related 
   Homepage with all its features.

   Anyway I finished it now, and hope that it´ll lead to another success.
